My characters birth to early life

The universe I am making around my character is a high fantasy version of the Sengoku Basara anime, that means there are mythical creatures about and magic is used by a skilled few though considering the time period magic is looked down on unless you are of noble birth or you are a monk, priest or nun because only the truly evil would lay a finger on a holy figure. The events of the anime will be used but may be changed slightly in order to fit my character, this will differ from role-play to role-play depending on who you will playing as.

Birth

 

Kazuki was born to an unwed woman of unknown origin who brought her to her father in the dead of night to take care of as she could not give their daughter the life she deserved, this man was known as Yemon, the leader of the Hana clan whose members had strong magic running through their veins as they were descended from the most powerful mystic ever known. Yemon, however, was married so if he agreed to raise his newborn daughter he would have to confess the truth to his wife Lady Sadashi, which he knew would not go well but having loved the woman that birthed his new daughter who had his heart before he had ever met Sadashi he could not refuse and after sharing one final kiss with his true love he watched her disappear into the night, the sight of her tear stained face forever burned into his memory.

 

As he had suspected Lady Sadashi was furious, she cursed and threw things at her husband, Yemon took everything she had to give waiting out her rage before daring to speak "Sadashi, nothing can excuse what I have done but you must understand that I loved her first and that although I love you our love was a learned one, hers and mine was as natural as the wind in the trees. I was a weak man when I saw again after so long nine months ago but when she came to me tonight I gave her my word that I would raise our daughter as a legitimate member of the clan, I will not go back on it" she glared at him through misty vision as her eyes were clouded with tears still "I will never accept her, she is a dirty half-blood and I will not raise her as mine!" Yemon was resolute in his decision and would not budge "You will raise her Sadashi that's an order"

 

Early life

Kazuki was a happy girl despite her mothers abuse which was both mental and physical, she didn't seem to be bothered by it much but that was simply due to the fact that her father Yemon treated her with love and never once raised his voice nor hand to her. When Kazuki was only three years old she exhibited ability in magic after healing a nasty cut her older brother Mako had received while sparring with his best friend Benkei, after that day Yemon taught Kazuki how to control her powers and use them in a variety of applications. This only soured Sadashi's already harsh view of Kazuki further as it was evident, even at her young age that she would surpass her brother in strength if left unchecked so Sadashi decided to get rid of the girl once and for all.

 

Late that night she went into Kazuki's room and was set to smother her when she realized the girl wasn't there but how was it possible that she could slip out of her room without making a sound to alert the guard down the hall? it didn't matter to her though, she was determined to be rid of the brat. Sadashi attempted a few more times over the next year to kill Kazuki but the girl always seemed to know when it was about to happen and avoided it, Yemon knew what Sadashi was doing but could not prove it so he had a maid stay at Kazuki's side at all times, thwarting any further attempts by his wife to kill his daughter. Yemon officially stated that when he died Kazuki was to take over as head of the clan if she was of age otherwise Mako would act as head until she was of age, this came under protest from others but he would not budge "She is going to be stronger than any of us one day and she will lead this clan to great glory, I have seen it, she will stand under a soaring dragon, be at the side of a tiger or run with a vagabond. Where she will be when glory comes is not clear but glory will come to us". This announcement sowed unrest among some of the clan and they sided with Sadashi and set to do something far more cruel and heinous to Kazuki.

 

Four years passed and Sadashi was able to put her plan into motion, she paid someone within the clan to kill her husband and frame Kazuki for it, in a bid to secure the support of the rest of the clan who stood by her husbands decision. Unfortunately for Kazuki this plan was a success but being a child no one would kill her so Sadashi grabbed Kazuki by her hair and dragged her to the castle gates and threw her out of them "If you ever dare to return here you will be met only with death" Kazuki ran and ran until she collapsed in a forest clearing exhausted, scared and heartbroken at the loss of her father and the betrayal of those she once trusted.
